JULY 24 - 26, 2025
international grand isle tarpon rodeo
Since 1928, the Grand Isle International Tarpon Rodeo is the oldest fishing tournament in the United States. Every late July the island town of Grand Isle joins together for three days and celebrates a Louisiana sport fishing tradition. Fishermen travel from afar to compete for the biggest species of fish they can find, inshore and offshore. There are also daily activities for families attending the famous tournament, such as live music and children's crab races. If planning a fishing trip to south Louisiana, pencil Grand Isle on your list.
